Welcome to my blog. This is the very first post.



After several years of reading many other peoples very admirable blogs, mainly to do with the Roman Catholic Church, especially as it exists in its peculiar, ( I almost said extraordinary), form in England and Wales, and being, in no particular order, alternatively, and sometimes at the same time, excited, annoyed, enraged, delighted, and thrilled, ( that's putting it a bit strongly, (Ed.)), I have decided to embark on a blog of my own.

I have called it The Hound of Heaven, for two reasons, firstly, I own, or rather am owned by, a mad basset hound/spaniel cross by the name of Sydney, and the second I will let you work out for yourself.
